About Zak

Hello my name is Zak and I am a fun, local Carlsbad pickleball coach with over 4 years of playing experience and over 3 years of teaching experience! I am also an IPTPA Certified Pickleball Professional and run the youth program at Melba Bishop in Oceanside. I’m a full-time pickleball coach and I have pickleball court where I live in Carlsbad that is located right off of Interstate 5. It’s private, inclusive & it’s also an amazing location to improve your game! In addition, I own and I operate a pickleball events company called Pickleball Z Events and offer glow ball parties and pickleball tournaments here in Carlsbad!

I am offering fun private pickleball lessons, semi-private pickleball lessons, group pickleball lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot (dink), approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be happy to help you with your game!

I teach pickleball lessons in the Carlsbad area but I will also travel up to 10 miles to a pickleball court that is conveniently located near you.
