About David
Hello my name is David & I’m a fun, local Fountain Valley pickleball coach with over 9 years of playing experience and over 8 years of teaching experience! I’m also a PPR Certified Pickleball Professional and a 4.5 pickleball tournament player who frequently competes and most recently, I competed in the US Open Pickleball Championships! I also recently medaled twice in the APP Atlanta Metro Open & then with my Gold Medal won a “Golden Ticket” to participate in the 2022 National Championship that was located in Indian Wells, California.
At the age of 65, I fell in love with the great game of pickleball! I then immediately began playing and drilling regularly. I built a pickleball community using an outdoor basketball court at a nearby elementary school. It was a very exciting time. My passion for pickleball led me to get certified as a coach and I then started teaching others how to play. I medaled in my first USA Pickleball Event and continued to rise in ranking, winning many more medals. I am really excited about sharing my life changing pickleball journey with others! I am positive, energetic, experienced, knowledgeable, I love the game and I want to share my pickleball passion with players of all ages and levels.
I am offering fun private pickleball lessons, semi-private pickleball lessons, group pickleball lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot (dink), approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be happy to help you with your game!
I teach pickleball lessons in the Fountain Valley area at Agape Tennis & Pickleball Academy as well as a private court in Yorba Linda but I will travel up to 20 miles to pickleball court that is located near you.
