About Tom
Hello my name is Tom and I am a fun, local Hayden pickleball coach with over 6 years of playing experience and over 4 years of teaching experience! I am also a PPR Certified Pickleball Professional. I have worked with players of all skill levels, from beginners looking to learn the fundamentals, to more advanced players seeking to refine their technique and their strategy. My coaching background includes both private lessons and group instruction which allows me to tailor my teaching approach to each individual’s needs on the pickleball court.
I have shared my pickleball expertise through multiple city parks and recreation departments, helping to grow the great sport of pickleball within local communities. My structured, yet flexible coaching style ensures that every student receives personalized guidance, whether they are just picking up a paddle for the first time or working to take their game to the next level. Known as a local pickleball coach for my patience and also encouraging demeanor, I take pride in creating a positive and supportive learning environment. I focus on building strong foundational skills, improving footwork and enhancing shot consistency while also emphasizing the importance of strategy and court awareness. My goal is not only to help my pickleball students develop their technical abilities but also to instill a lifelong love for the game. With my passion for teaching and commitment to helping every player improve, I continue to be a trusted and respected coach in the pickleball community. Whether I am on the court with a single student or leading a group session, I bring energy, knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for the #1 fastest growing sport to every lesson!
I am offering fun private pickleball lessons, semi-private pickleball lessons, group pickleball lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot (dink), approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be happy to help you with your game!
I teach pickleball lessons in the Hayden area but I will also travel up to 10 miles to a pickleball court that is conveniently located near you.
