Hi my name is Nathan and I am a fun, local Kalamazoo pickleball coach with over 3 years of playing experience and over 1 year of teaching experience! I am also a Certified Pickleball Professional through Pickleball Coaching International. I’m thrilled to connect with fellow lovers of the game. Pickleball isn’t just a sport for me-it’s a passion that I love sharing. Whether you’re a beginner stepping onto the court for the first time or a seasoned player aiming to refine your pickleball skills, I’m here to guide you on your pickleball journey.

In my coaching approach, I believe everyone possesses unique God-given skills and abilities. I aim to help you develop and also enhance those talents, focusing specifically on the crucial elements of tactics, fundamentals and technical skills that form the crucial backbone of successful pickleball play. I understand the importance of building a strong foundation in pickleball and that’s where our journey begins.

Whether we’re working on strategies to outsmart opponents, refining your shot techniques or mastering the fundamentals, I’m dedicated to helping you become the best pickleball player you can be. I look forward to working with you, sharing the great joy of pickleball and contributing to your growth and success on the court. So what are you waiting for? I am offering fun private pickleball lessons, semi-private pickleball lessons, group pickleball lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot (dink), approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be happy to help you with your game!

I teach pickleball lessons in the Kalamazoo area but I’ll also travel up to 10 miles to a pickleball court that is conveniently located near you.
