About Corey
Hello my name is Corey and I am a local San Diego pickleball coach with over 6 years of playing experience and over 3 years of teaching experience! I played competitive tennis for 15 years before deciding to transition into the beautiful sport of pickleball. Now I compete in tournaments (I’m a 4.0 APA doubles champion) and regularly coach pickleball from beginners all the way up to advanced competitors. I like to focus on the basics, where students get really good at drop shots (dink), rallies and teammate communication before advancing to some more complicated strategies and techniques on the court.
I am offering fun private pickleball lessons, semi-private pickleball lessons, group pickleball lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot (dink), approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be happy to help you with your game!
I teach pickleball lessons in the San Diego area but I will travel up to 10 miles (any travel beyond 10 miles will require an additional fee).
