About Andy
Hello my name is Andy and I am a local Sarasota pickleball coach with over 4 years of playing experience and over 2 years of teaching experience! I am also a PPR Certified Pickleball Professional. I am a 4.0+ player and a full time resident of Florida. I have a passion for pickleball and I’m eager to spread that passion to beginners and intermediate players. I started my teaching informally with beginners and kids in my community of 225 players. This teaching experience taught me the importance of learning and developing proper habits from the beginning. My philosophy is helping players develop proper stroke mechanics and understanding game strategy. I have played and been involved in organized sports my whole life, so I can relate to all situations and will motivate you to success out on the court.
I am offering private pickleball lessons, semi-private pickleball lessons, group pickleball lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot (dink), approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be happy to help you with your game! I also offer a popular option of including me in your foursome with observation and instruction after each game. These sessions are typically 1.5 hours long and provide a good mix of having fun playing pickleball with your regular group and also learning along the way.
I teach pickleball lessons in Sarasota but I will travel up to 15 miles.
