Hi my name is Melissa and I am a fun, local Tallahassee pickleball coach! I am a passionate pickleball player and instructor with a love for teaching the game and helping others discover the thrill of this fast-paced sport. With some years of experience on the court, I’ve honed a deep understanding of both the technical and the strategic aspects of pickleball and I’m excited to share that knowledge with players of all ages and all skill levels. Whether you’re picking up a paddle for the first time or looking to refine your skills to compete at a higher level, I offer personalized lessons that focus on building a strong foundation in the fundamentals. From mastering your grip and footwork to learning how to read your opponents’ moves, I guide my players through the essential techniques that will help them elevate their game. In my lessons, I strive to create a very fun and supportive environment where players feel really comfortable and encouraged.
I believe that learning the great game of pickleball should be really enjoyable, so my approach combines skill-building with a positive, engaging atmosphere. I focus not just on improving technique but also on fostering a love for the sport, helping you to develop both confidence and competence on the pickleball court. As a pickleball instructor, I understand the nuances of the game and how to break down complex strategies into easily digestible tips and exciting drills. Whether you’re playing for fun or looking to compete, my goal is to help you reach your full potential while enjoying the journey. I am offering fun private pickleball lessons, semi-private pickleball lessons, group pickleball lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for most all the skill levels (beginner, intermediate). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot (dink), approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be happy to help you with your game!
I teach pickleball lessons in the Tallahassee area but I will travel to other locations around the greater Tallahassee area such as Quincy, Monticello, Wakulla Springs, Crawfordville & Thomasville (Georgia).
