About Richard
Hi my name is Richard! I’m a fun, local Vero Beach pickleball coach with over 8 years of playing experience & over 3 years of teaching experience! I am also a PPR Certified Pickleball Professional. I come from a long tennis background and was introduced to pickleball back in 2017 by my tennis partner. I was immediately hooked on the great game of pickleball and progressed fast into becoming a tournament singles player. I tried to stay with tennis, but eventually gave it up in favor of pickleball. It took three years to unlearn bad tennis habits and then I decided to become a pickleball coach here locally. I did my PPR (Professional Pickleball Registry) training under pickleball professional Sarah Ansbury. I have been an ambassador for Babolat Pickleball since 2022. I really get a lot of pleasure seeing all of my pickleball students progress and become strong pickleball players!
I am offering fun private pickleball lessons, semi-private pickleball lessons, group pickleball lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot (dink), approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be happy to help you with your game!
I teach pickleball lessons in the Vero Beach area but will travel up to 20 miles to a pickleball court that is conveniently located near you.
