Hello my name is Brandon and I am a fun, local Cupertino pickleball coach with over 6 years of playing experience and over 3 years of teaching experience! I am also a IPF Certified Pickleball Professional as well as a RSPA Certified Tennis Professional with over 15 years of playing experience and over 9 years of teaching experience. From a very young age, I got tennis lessons from my father, a certified pro instructor. I went on to play on my high school’s varsity tennis team for four years and also played on UC Santa Barbara’s traveling club tennis team for my last 3 years of college. I now have over 15 years of competitive playing experience with a current 5.0 NTRP rating. Please click here to view my FindTennisLessons.com coach page!
As a licensed physical therapist who went through CSU Northridge’s rigorous Doctorate of Physical Therapy program, I have worked hard to become an expert in the analysis of human movement. I have also been able to apply this knowledge to then develop a very systematic approach to teaching people how to play pickleball in a fun and easy way. My adult clients appreciate the constant feedback to improving their game and kids love the high energy and fun that I bring while making sure they’re learning correct form out on the pickleball court.
As an experienced tennis player and coach, I naturally gravitated towards pickleball as another fun sport to try! After playing for a few years, I decided to become a certified coach and start teaching it. In addition to teaching regular private lessons and group clinics, I also offer services to teach pickleball for team building/corporate events. With a large incidence of injuries erupting as a result of pickleball playing, I am a huge proponent of teaching the correct form for injury prevention including all the stroke mechanics, footwork and fitness. Pickleball is a very strategic sport as well, so I am heavy on strategy. I teach pickleball lessons here in the Cupertino area at Valley Church (Cupertino), El Quito Park (Saratoga) and Mountain View High School (Mountain View) but I will travel up to 10 miles to a court near you!
