Hello my name is Mario and I am a local Houston pickleball coach with over 3 years of playing experience and over 2 years of teaching experience! I am also a RSPA Certified Pickleball Professional and RSPA Certified Tennis Professional with over 20 years of playing experience and over 20 years of teaching experience. I am originally from Colombia and have been playing tennis since I was 9 years old. Throughout my tennis career, I have competed in both national and international tournaments. In addition, I currently hold a degree in Sports Science from the National School of Sport and I specialize in sports fitness, talent identification, tennis and of course pickleball.
My expertise extends to rehabilitation, injury prevention & all aspects of sports and recreation at various levels of human development. I’ve volunteered with the University of Kentucky’s women’s tennis team and have worked with multiple tennis clubs in Connecticut. I’ve also collaborated with academies in Houston and currently coach players of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced competitors.
