Hello my name is Jimmy and I am a fun, local Irvine pickleball coach with over 3 years of playing experience and over 1 year of teaching experience! I’m also a PTR Certified Tennis Professional with over 40 years of playing experience & over 35 years of teaching experience.

I started playing pickleball 3 1/2 years ago with my good friend Brian and I’ve been hooked ever since. Before I started playing pickleball, I played Division 1 college tennis as well as professional tennis. My background in tennis of course relates to pickleball so its helped me to teach my students things like swing path, foot work, strategy and also the mental game. I also have a degree in exercise physiology and I give all my pickleball students advice on stretching, recovery, sport appropriate weight training, visualization, hydration & nutrition.
I am offering fun private pickleball lessons, semi-private pickleball lessons, group pickleball lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot (dink), approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be happy to help you with your game!
I teach pickleball lessons in the Irvine and Lake Forest area but will travel up to 15 miles to a pickleball court that is located near you.
