About Ty

Hello my name is Ty! I’m a local Nashville pickleball coach and IPTPA Certified Pickleball Professional. In addition to teaching pickleball, I am also a USPTA Elite Certified Tennis Professional with well over 30 years of playing experience & over 25 years of teaching experience. I’m currently the full-time Tennis Director at a K-12 academy located in Brentwood. Many of my tennis students have gone on to play in college as well as many USTA state and regional tennis tournaments.

I am offering fun private pickleball lessons, semi-private pickleball lessons, group pickleball lessons and hitting only sessions for most all ages (kids 10+, teens, adults, seniors) and for all the skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot (dink), approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I’d be happy to help with your game!

I conduct all of my pickleball lessons and pickleball clinics over at a private facility in Brentwood with 4 permanently marked pickleball courts at a beautiful facility with parking, bathrooms, music and all the equipment that’s necessary. It’s basically like playing at a resort.
