About Raleigh Pickleball Coach Daniel
Hello my name is Daniel and I am a local Raleigh pickleball coach with over 5 years of playing experience and over 3 years of teaching experience! My journey into pickleball began through my extensive background in tennis, a sport I’ve played for over 14 years & coached for over 13. The skills I’ve developed as a tennis coach-like strategy, footwork, shot placement, and mental toughness-translate seamlessly into pickleball. Tennis teaches you how to read the game, anticipate opponents’ moves, and execute a wide variety of shots, all of which are crucial in pickleball. Additionally, my experience coaching top-level tennis players, including Division 1 to Division 3 athletes and professionals, has given me a unique perspective on how to elevate players’ skills and maximize their full potential, whether they’re just starting out learning the fundamentals or competing at a high level. I teach pickleball lessons here in the Raleigh area but I am also willing to travel up to 15 miles to a pickleball court that is located near you!
