Hello my name is Brian and I am a local Scottsdale pickleball coach with over 3 years of playing experience and over 2 years of teaching experience! As a passionate & experienced PPR Certified Pickleball Professional, I have had the privilege of coaching several hundred players over the past two years, from first-timers as young as 8 to active adults in their late 80s. My mission is to help every pickleball student thrive on the court by developing very strong technical skills, game strategy, effective teamwork and incredible mental resilience.

With certifications as a personal trainer, registered dietitian and also a registered nurse, I bring a unique, holistic approach to training. My pickleball lessons are fully customized to meet each client’s goals, whether that’s mastering a consistent dink, sharpening reaction time or building power and stamina for competitive play. I like to integrate principles of fitness-including agility, flexibility, strength & endurance to help players reach their peak potential safely and also efficiently.

Beyond pickleball, I’ve trained athletes across a spectrum of sports and all ages from elementary school runners to national champion ultimate frisbee players, ironman triathletes, ultra-marathoners and spartan race competitors. As a dietitian, I also provide performance-focused nutrition coaching, helping players fuel effectively for great energy, focus, and optimal recovery. So whether you’re picking up a paddle for the first time or preparing for your next tournament, I’d love to help you elevate your game and to also enjoy the journey!

I teach pickleball lessons in the Scottsdale area but will travel up to 10 miles to a pickleball court that is located conveniently near you.

Hello my name is Saurabh and I am a fun, local Hawthorne pickleball coach with over 4 years of playing experience and over 2 years of teaching experience!  I have a strong background in racket and team sports and I am really passionate about growing the great game of pickleball! Over the years, I’ve coached players of all ages in sports like tennis, badminton and squash-now I am focused on promoting pickleball through coaching, tournaments and school programs. I’ve won local pickleball tournaments, conducted clinics and partnered with schools, clubs and NGOs to bring the sport to new audiences. My goal is to make pickleball more accessible, fun and community-driven across the country-I’m always looking to connect with like-minded people who share that vision both here locally or nationally. I was really into tennis as a kid as well as a young adult, but I really fell in love with pickleball in my 40’s and I am now currently working towards becoming a USPTA Certified Pickleball Professional. Hello my name is Kevin and I am a fun, local Los Angeles pickleball coach with over 20 years of playing experience and over 20 years of teaching experience (both tennis and pickleball combined). I am also a PPR Certified Pickleball Professional. I started playing tennis over at Griffith Park at age eight and went on to play varsity tennis for four years over at Marshall High School, winning four of the Adult League California Sectionals as well as two national titles. I have coached numerous college players at prestigious universities like USC and UCLA and hold a PTR certification for teaching kids. I also run various clinics, including afterschool pickleball sessions for kids ages 9-15 and Sunday tennis programs in San Gabriel, where I balance clinics with match play. As a Senior PPA Pickleball Gold Medalist, I promote pickleball’s incredible growth by offering beginner clinics focusing on DUPR ratings and hosting events at private and indoor facilities. My passion for teaching/extensive coaching experience have made me a key figure in Southern California’s tennis & pickleball communities. I teach pickleball lessons in the Los Angeles area at an indoor facility in Glendale and do not travel to teach at other locations at this time.

Hello my name is Michael and I’m a local Redlands pickleball coach! I am also a RSPA Certified Tennis Professional with over 37 years of playing experience and over 20 years of teaching experience. I was the former Head Tennis Coach for Oneonta. Before coaching at Pacific Lutheran, I served as the Assistant Tennis Coach for Mesa Community College in Arizona where I led the practices, recruited student-athletes and enhanced the overall educational development of the students. In 2020, I coached a player to the runner-up in the Arizona State Championships at Notre Dame Prep. I’ve also worked with the top junior players in the Southwest at the Players Academy in Scottsdale, Arizona with 5 of those players going on to play at the collegiate level-4 of which played Division 1 and one played Division 3 tennis. From 2009-2011, I was the Head Tennis coach at St. Pius X High School in Kansas City, Missouri. While at St. Pius, I guided the Warriors to a 56-4 record. Additionally, I created and implemented a workout and injury prevention program that collegiate coaches then adopted for their teams. I was the primary Head Tennis Professional at the Clayview Country Club in Kansas City, Missouri bringing in new members and maintaining the courts and equipment. Back in college, I was a 7 time All-St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) selection at Westminster College and was named to the SLIAC All-Decade Team from 2000-2009. Hello my name is Mikele and I’m a fun, local Beverly Hills pickleball coach with over 20 years of playing experience & over 10 years of teaching experience! I am also a USTA Safe Play Certified Coach. In addition to teaching pickleball locally, I am also a local Beverly Hills tennis coach. I led Harvard-Westlake to an undefeated championship for the first time as a coach and have coached at a tennis academy of nationally ranked tournament players. I have continued to be in very competitive shape for both match play and also hitting only sessions.

A previous #10 in the world on the men’s ATP Pro Tour and two time Davis Cup player hired me as his only assistant coach for many years to conduct his tennis academy. These tennis students frequently flew across the United States to compete in several national tournaments. I learned on a highly professional level how to conduct tennis drills, workouts and coach different styles and grips. I grew up playing on courts in LA at Braemar & Mountain Gate. I played on the Palisades High School Tennis Team, winning the city championship every year and also obtained the #1 junior ranking in the San Fernando Valley.
