Hello my name is Bodie and I am a local Yorba Linda pickleball coach with over 5 years of playing experience and over 1 year of teaching experience! I am also a RSPA Certified Pickleball Professional. I am passionate about pickleball and tennis. I played and taught tennis for over 35 years at private clubs, summer camps and now serve at El Dorado High School as the JV Tennis Coach. My pickleball program is built around building the right shots in the right way. My students enjoy learning the most when they first understand the “why” behind the “what” they are supposed to do. Hello my name is Eiichi and I am a fun, local Campbell pickleball coach with over 35 years of teaching experience between tennis & pickleball! From the moment I first picked up a tennis racquet as a very young child, racquet sports have been a central part of my life.

I played competitively through my university years as a member of a collegiate team-both during and after college and I had the privilege of coaching tennis and working with players of various ages and skill levels. Over time playing, teaching and learning from others became not just an activity, but a lifelong journey. Before I realized it, nearly fifty years had passed with tennis as a constant companion-shaping my discipline, resilience and joy in movement. Coaching has always been especially meaningful to me throughout the years. I had the unique opportunity to coach my own son, supporting his growth as both a player and an individual, and watching him go on to enjoy tennis at the NCAA Division 1 level was one of the great rewards of my life. That experience reinforced my belief that racquet sports are not only about technique, but about confidence, mindset, and about the genuine enjoyment of the game-such as tennis and pickleball!

About two years ago, I discovered pickleball. While different in form, it immediately resonated with me in the same way tennis once did. Its accessibility, strategic depth, and strong sense of community drew me in, and I quickly found myself fully immersed. Today, I enjoy pickleball with the same passion I have carried for racquet sports throughout my life. As a coach, my focus is simple and sincere: I teach with enthusiasm, clarity, and respect for each player’s goals. I believe improvement comes quickly when learning is enjoyable & I strive to help players build solid fundamentals, sharpen their skills, and gain confidence-always while having fun on out the court. I look very forward to sharing the excitement and lifelong value of racquet sports with you. As a licensed physical therapist who went through CSU Northridge’s rigorous Doctorate of Physical Therapy program, I have worked hard to become an expert in the analysis of human movement. I have also been able to apply this knowledge to then develop a very systematic approach to teaching people how to play pickleball in a fun and easy way. My adult clients appreciate the constant feedback to improving their game and kids love the high energy and fun that I bring while making sure they’re learning correct form out on the pickleball court.

As an experienced tennis player and coach, I naturally gravitated towards pickleball as another fun sport to try! After playing for a few years, I decided to become a certified coach and start teaching it. In addition to teaching regular private lessons and group clinics, I also offer services to teach pickleball for team building/corporate events. With a large incidence of injuries erupting as a result of pickleball playing, I am a huge proponent of teaching the correct form for injury prevention including all the stroke mechanics, footwork and fitness. Pickleball is a very strategic sport as well, so I am heavy on strategy.
